BREATH WORK & COACHING
- FOR YOUR MIND, BODY & SOUL -

Breath work is recognised as a versatile and powerful way to process feelings, manage anxiety and stress, shift stagnant or pent up emotions, and support mental clarity and calm.

Techniques can be used as short ‘in-the-moment’ tools for self-regulation, and also as mechanisms for deeper healing and developing self-awareness.

I have personal experience of breath work supporting my emotional and mental health. This work has supported growth and self awareness, and helped bring healthy boundaries into my personal and professional life. A regular practice allows me to be present in the moment and alive to challenges, opportunities, connection and joy.

I bring a combination of conscious connected breathwork, pranayama, functional breathing and mindfulness to my work. Functional breathing and mindfulness are valuable tools to help navigate emotions and situations that arise in day-to-day life. Pranayama is a versatile practice that can be used in short bursts as a way to ground ourselves in the moment, and, in longer sessions, to move into states of meditation and calm. Conscious connected breathwork allows us to delve into a deeper, more 'medicinal' space where we can access and process blocked and stagnant energy, emotions and feelings.

I offer 1:1 and group sessions, which can take place in person or online. In person sessions can include acupressure body mapping, which involves working with points where tension and stress are held in the body, often relating to long held internal narratives or unexplored emotions. I invite people to use these points on themselves in online sessions. ​

​

My intention is to empower individuals with the awareness and skills to access breathwork regularly as a self practice or in a facilitated space.  My goal is to support a society where people thrive rather than simply survive.

​

In the busy-ness of modern life our wellbeing and connection to self is the most valuable thing we have. I believe that breathwork is a powerful, versatile and accessible tool that supports our self-care.

"SO WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?" I HEAR YOU ASK...

  • The sessions generally last 80 minutes.

  • I will explain and demonstrate the conscious connected breathing technique and also share examples of other techniques.

  • We will have a ‘holistic check in’ - either as a group or 1:1 - to discuss your general mood, energy and state of mind.

  • I will lead a short grounding exercise and then guide you through a ‘breathe’. During the breathe I offer optional acupressure body mapping.

  • At the end of the breathe, I invite you to relax and take some time to settle in savasana.

  • There will then be space for reflection and feedback before we close the session.
